Sugar scrub

This wonderful exfoliating scrub will leave your skin baby soft ! Mix two tablespoons of sugar with two tablespoons of hot water. Add other ingredients, depending on your skin type. For oily skin, add a dash of lemon juice. For dry skin, add honey or coconut milk to soften the skin. Go one step further and replace the water with vegetable oils, such as sweet almond or hazelnut oil. This will get rid of dead skin cells and get you glowing !

Nothing easier ! Add the juice of one lemon (without the pulp) to 250ml of mineral water, then add a drop of lemon essential oil. An emergency oatmeal face mask

Oatmeal is wonderful for soothing sensitive complexions. It softens and calms irritated skin that is just crying out for help. Mix a third of a cup of oatmeal with warm water to make a soft paste. Add a tablespoon of honey and a tablespoon of yoghurt. This miraculous face mask can also be used elsewhere on the body to calm eczema.

An antioxidant chocolate face mask

Chocolate is our best friend when it comes to treating skin oxidation. Melt two squares of dark chocolate (or three if you fancy a bit !) and mix with a teaspoon of vegetable oil and a tablespoon of double cream. Mix into a smooth paste, spread it on your face and leave for 20 minutes before rinsing it off with warm water. Your skin will be protected and give off the delicious smell of chocolate, too. Irresistible !

Our favourite is the lovely honey facemask

Perfect for soft, glowing skin. Ingredients : one egg white, a tablespoon of runny honey, half a tablespoon of lemon juice and a tablespoon of yoghurt. Honey is rich in vitamins, minerals and amino acids and it plumps up the skin, leaving it soft and cleansed. The calcium in the milk boosts cell renewal. Et voila, radiant skin !
