  • Glycolic Acid

    Glycolic acid is the smallest member of the Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA) familly. It rapidly and easily penetrates the epidermis. Due to its high desquamating efficacy (via the destruction of intercellular bonds), it is used by dermatologists in high-concentration for superficial peeling (20% to 70%). Studies have shown that using glycolic acid in a daily cosmetic treatment at low concentrations accelerates shedding of dead cells at the skin surface, for a more even complexion, a smoother surface and improved skin quality. Glycolic acid is one of the key ingredients of Revitalift Laser X3 glycolic peel pads.

Effective in lightening acne scars

I love this new product Loreal Glycolic Bright!! Tried many lightening products for my scars over the years, none barely works. After using for 4 weeks, I can see obvious lightening of my scars! My skin feel smoother and less tight. Love the fragrance most!! The serum texture is to my liking, not to watery nor thick, and it did not cause any breakouts. Best brightening serum 2022

I have been suffering from acne prone skin for 12 years and i always had blemishes. I am so thankful that hometester team gave me the opportunity to try this amazing brightening serum. After 2 weeks of application, i see a very big difference on my face. I love how lightweight and fast absorbing into my skin qualities it has. I am a convert!

My skincare routine up to this point was incredibly lazy. I would cleanse with a facial wash, and slap on moisturiser only when my skin was dry enough to itch. In the tropical heat there is no incentive to cover my face in products. I am lucky I do not have large pores or acne scars, but I do have red skin, and with age my skin is becoming a little dull. Masks have also caused the occasional break-out on my cheeks. This tester forced me to pay closer attention and invest more thought into my skincare routine. I use it morning and night, along with a toner and a super light moisturiser. After a week the redness was reduced, and although I did not notice a huge change myself, I started getting compliments from other people on my complexion after 3 weeks! My biggest fear of break out due to too much stuff on my face was unfounded. I will continue using this serum and I highly recommend it.

Skin feels good

I have combination and sensitive skin, oily on some parts, and dry on some parts. The lightening effect for dark spots is not very obvious. Overall skin tone seems to have even out, and skin feels like it is not too oily or dry too. The first couple of applications there is a slight tingling feel, but it goes away very quickly. Read that we need to put sunscreen while using this product; if not, it is easy to get sunburn, so I have been religiously putting on sunscreen in the day and moisturiser at night. There is a slight glow up after using this, and I felt my photos did not do justice to the product. I would definitely consider purchasing this when it is out.

Gentle lightweight brightening product

Great for skin brightening

I have been using Loreal Paris Glycolic Bright Serum twice daily for 4 weeks and I have seen visible results. I have a combination skin type with visible dark spots. After usage, I can feel that dark spots are lightened up and skin tone becomes more even and brighter. I apply it after toner and it always hydrates my skin well, especially before my makeup. I really like the luxury smell of it. As for the texture, it looks cloudier and thicker from the serum I ever used. However, it absorbs quickly into the skin and does not feel sticky at all. I also like the easy tube applicator to minimize wastage. Overall, I will definitely use this for a more radiant skin look!

Tried product religiously for a month including the use of sunblock as advised. Dark spots definitely lightened very quickly. Absorption is quite fast too. Definitely give it a try if this is your skin concern. I used this every day and at first I didnt see much difference.. but I am also glad I dont have any major reaction to the product.. I have 2 acne scars at my forehead and I did noticed it is lighter now.. I think it is rather gentle so have to use it for a longer period to see more effects..

Whitening and Hydration All In One

I have ultra acne prone skin which is awfully thin with loads of broken capillaries on both my cheeks. I also have very deep laugh lines and depressed skin which makes me look older than I exreally am. I always use makeup to cover my imperfections such as crow feets and wrinkles around my eyes and forehead and it actually does little to no help at all. After trying Loreal Paris Glycolic Bright Serum, I realised that My skin is soft to touch and remains clean and sebum free till the next morning. Not only does my skin becomes more even, it also glows from within, without looking deadly pale or White. The Serum is very light weight and absorbs almost immediately into my skin. It also allows my other products to better penetrate into my skin. Most importantly, it does not irritate my acne prone skin or induces new emerging ones.

Effective lightweight serum

The Loreal Paris Glycolic Bright Serum is an effective serum to give you brighter skin. I have oily skin type and I like how the serum is lightweight and non-sticky. The serum as a pleasant scent which I very much like it.
